    Many clients come in with pain, but often don’t know the underlying cause. With the help of palpation, your massage therapist can help pinpoint the potential muscles that could be contributing to your pain. Don’t be afraid to ask your massage therapist questions about your session!

    • It is always advised you dress down to YOUR comfort level. However, per ethics and boundaries for a massage therapist, your therapist is required to get consent before working over any clothing. Examples of this boundary incudes: underwear, bras, pants, socks and shirts. Clothing is seen as a physical boundary and is respected by the therapist and will always be communicated with the client.

    • Absolutely! As long as there is no sexual content in the podcasts and the music is not sexually suggestive, you’re more than welcome to listen to whatever relaxes you the most. Sexual content of any kind will mean an immediate forfeit in your session.

  • No, but it is always appreciated.

  • Not every client is created equal, so not every massage will be either. It is always beneficial to discuss your current needs as they can change day to day. This ensures consistent success to meet your needs as they change.

  • There are medical details that will change how your therapist will approach a massage. Whether you have tender scar tissue, a recent surgery, diabetes, use muscle relaxers, currently on pain medication etc. assists your therapist in giving you the best experience possible.
